This collection is based off of one of the finest forms of life, Lichen.

Lichens are unique composite organisms, not plants or animals, but rather a symbiotic partnership between a fungus and either an alga or a cyanobacterium. The fungus provides structure and protection, while the algae or cyanobacteria perform photosynthesis, producing food for both. This mutually beneficial relationship allows lichens to thrive in diverse and often harsh environments. 

My hope is that you feel powerful in this diverse and often harsh environment as you wear your lichen inspired jewelry pieces.
